Kendra Guthrie-Flores – Hygienist

     Kendra was born and raised in Hickory, N.C., but has resided in Boone for the past 3 years.  She has been happily married to Raul Flores, co-owner of Dos Amigos Restaurant, for 6 years now this past January.  Kendra recently completed the Dental Hygiene program at Guilford Community College in Jamestown N.C., in May 2005, and looks forward to practicing in the new dental office.                                                                                                                         

Jennifer Bryan – Dental Assistant, Lab Technician

     Jennifer has been a Watauga County resident her entire life, and now lives in the Meat Camp area.  Jennifer was a dental assistant in a previous local practice for almost two years and loves working with the individuals in the dental profession.  She is the proud wife of Anthony Bryan, and mother of 15 year old John and 14 year old Josh Bryan.  Jennifer is the youngest of three daughters of Deep Gap natives, Sid and Reba Watson.  She has recently completed a Dental Radiography Course at CPCC in Charlotte, NC, Modeling Technique classes in Atlanta, GA, and is currently involved in Orthodontic Courses in Dallas, TX.  Jennifer will be a Dental Assistant and Lab Technician in the new dental practice.

Becky Swift – Front Desk Personnel, Dental Assistant

     Becky has lived in the beautiful Vilas area for the past 20 yrs, where she was raised by parents, Pastor Ray and Jeanette Greene.  Becky and her husband of 13 years, Tony Swift, share a beautiful 7 year old son together, Tanner Swift.  Becky has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1989, and has owned her own successful shop for the past 4 years.  She has also recently completed the Dental Radiography course at CPCC in Charlotte, NC, this past month.   Becky is excited to begin this new experience as the Front Desk Personnel and Dental Assistant in the new dental office.

Stacie Moody – Dental Assistant, Lab Technician 

     Stacie was born and raised in the Vilas area, and has been a resident of Boone for the past 23 years.  She is the daughter of Dennis Moody and Patricia Yates, who are also both residents of the Boone area.  Stacie is the proud grand-daughter of Pastor Carl and Mary Wilson and Clay and Louise Moody. She recently graduated from Appalachian State University in December 2004, with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotions, and is very excited to begin a career in the health field.  She also recently completed the Dental Radiography course at CPCC in Charlotte, NC, this past month.  Stacie will be a Dental Assistant and Lab Technician in the new dental office.
